In order to reduce investment costs and modernize the national industrial park, as well as improving the country's service infrastructure, the Brazilian government created the Ex-Tariff regime, which allows the temporary reduction of the Import Tax rate for 2%, for a maximum of two years, Capital Goods (BK) without national similar.
For such concessions, “Tariff exceptions” are temporarily created in the NCM codes, with its own numbering and special description of the desired equipment.
Surface Técnica offers its customers and importers in general the service to request this benefit from MDIC (Ministry of Development, Industry and Commerce). The service consists of the analysis of the equipment to be purchased from the client's technical area and the complete elaboration of the request that will be forwarded to the MDIC.
In addition to the elaboration of the “ex” request, according to current legislation, all monitoring of the machine import process is carried out, since the approval and publication of the ex-tariff in the D.O.U. until the arrival of the machine in Brazilian ports, supporting including the issuance of shipping documents.
